Saint Kitts and Nevis and Serbia Foreign Ministers Meet to Deepen Bilateral Ties

Antigua and Barbuda, June 27, 2025 — The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, the Rt. Honourable Dr. Denzil Douglas, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Honourable Marko Đurić, on the sidelines of the 55th Regular Session of the General Assembly of the Organization of American States, held in Antigua and Barbuda from June 25 to 27. 

During their discussions, Minister Đurić expressed satisfaction with the recent visit to Serbia by the President of the National Assembly of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Lanaein Blanchet, highlighting the productive and substantive engagements held during that visit. He extended an official invitation to Minister Douglas to visit Serbia in the near future to continue strengthening diplomatic relations. 

The two ministers explored avenues to enhance bilateral cooperation, particularly in economic relations, and discussed prospects for collaboration in various sectors. 

Minister Đurić also reiterated Serbia’s invitation to Saint Kitts and Nevis to participate in Expo 2027, a specialized international exhibition, expressing optimism that a positive response from the Caribbean nation would soon follow.
